Content Curated – December 2022

Bethany Ciaotla
All I can say is go follow her Instagram immediately, and you will not regret it. Come for the gorgeous gowns and her incredible house, stay for her humour and insane reliability. She is one of two people I follow on Insta that I would consider a content creator because it doesn’t feel like I”m being sold something. She’s able to feel like you’re getting a peak into her life without it feeling like a constant sales pitch. She is responsible for many of my 2021 purchases including a plethora of colourful nightgowns and flowy peasant dresses. I have seriously been reconsidering pants since I started following her.
Feel something – a playlist by savannah rose
A playlist I created for when I want to listen to songs that make me feel something. no rhyme or reason to many of the songs on here they just make me happy or even sad but in a good way. In some songs it’s the vocals, others it’s the lyrics but either way these are masterpieces ( in my humble opinion). A mix of Maggie Smith, PJ Harvey and Wild Rivers to name a few.
House In Habit – Substack
Jessica Reed Kraus is a brilliant writer; her most recent piece is no exception. She has a rogue style of journalism that keeps you checking back to see if she’s updated her stories or got into a new deep dive. Her substack goes into more detail however if you’re not also following her on Instagram you are missing out. There you will find many highlights with everything from Ghislaine Maxwell, Johnny Depp and Many more famous/infamous pop culture characters.
Caitlin Confidential
She has so many amazing recipes on her blog, and her wardrobe makes me want to throw all my clothes away and start from scratch. There are some very aesthetically pleasing photos on her website. I would highly recommend bookmarking it and going back often whether for recipes, fashion tips or to check out her new line of home goods.
Carrie Soto Is Back
This is my least favourite book by Taylor Jenkins Reid so far. I like the connection to the other books and their taking place in the same universe, but I just did not connect to many of the characters like the others. I didn’t rush to finish it like the others, and I can’t see myself listening multiple times as I have with her other books. All in all, it was enjoyable if you’re a fan, but I wouldn’t start here.
Sausage and Tomato Orzo Pasta
Every time I grocery shop, I get the sausage but I have always struggled to make the perfect pasta. I found this Pinterest and liked the idea of risotto-style pasta. I had orzo n hand, so I decided to try it out. I added cherry tomatoes and switched up a few ingredients, but it is one of those recipes where you can switch so many things and still end up with similar results. I will be making this again many more times and adjusting the recipe as I go.
