Camping At French Beach

Camping on Vancouver Island is a treat no matter where you are, but French Beach is one of the most stunning sites I’ve seen. The spots are gorgeous and only a short walk to the beach. The beach is made up of smooth round pebbles and stones so while you can still wear water shoes they aren’t essential like other places on the island because there are no barnacles to be seen. I slept in the first morning but woke up for a beach walk the second morning and was so happy we did because it was one of the most stunning mornings I’ve possibly ever seen. The fog rolling in was like something out of a movie and any time spent with Garrett’s family makes me feel lucky to have them as in-laws.
