NEW SERIES : WATCHMEN

I don’t think I have been this excited about a new series in a long time. I heard about this last summer when I saw an article saying that Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross were composing the music for the show. It’s truly the best of all worlds. This has been getting some major hype so I’m excited to see what they do with the story. It has been given the stamp of approval from Alan Moore himself so that is saying something. With shows like Chernobyl and True Detective HBO has been hitting the mark lately. I’m confident they won’t mess this one up. 

I’ve heard that this is set in modern times so the classic characters won’t necessarily have roles on the show. Even so, the trailer is showing they are at least referenced and clearly still very connected. The movie was so great they have some big shoes to fill. Considering this is more of a continuation than a remake, I that will play in their favor when it comes to critics and reviews of the show. 

I’m hoping this show will fill the void until Mr. Robot comes back. Premieres in Fall 2019
