To me blogs are a huge source in inspiration not only for work, but also for my style and most important when I am going on a vacation and want to know how to look as amazing as they did! I don’t know about you but with fashion blogs being a dime a dozen these days I find it hard to wade through a feed of lattes and macaroons without feeling some what unfulfilled (also like maybe all I need to do to succeed is paint everything in my life white). These girls are a true inspiration not only for what they have done with their sites but also because just looking at their photos makes you want to get out and go recreate any part of it. These girls are out making memories for themselves and documenting along the way in hope of inspiring us to go out and do the very same. Yes, some might look quite fancy but they are all still very relatable. Some you have probably heard of and some I’m sure you haven’t either way I recommend you stalk them all on Instagram like I do. I promise to disappoint!
A Fashion Love Affair

Cara McLeay recently beat out Chiara Ferragni as my hands-down my all time favourite blogger. It might be because she lives a block away from me which makes me think I have some connection to her but also she is absolutely gorgeous and her style sense is like nothing I have ever seen. I may not have read much about her on AFLA but from what I can tell she’s pretty private about her personal life so there is not much I actually know about her other than she was a buyer for a store in high-end store in Gastown and travels to fashion weeks and events all over the world. She mixes tulle ball gowns with converse, leather with lace and has a way of making even the most simple piece look insanely put together. If you have not already gone to her website GO NOW and follow her on Instagram @carajourdan
The Blonde Salad

The Blonde Salad is the first blog that got me into fashion blogs, I started following Chiara Ferragni in early 2012 a few years after she launch her first website after gaining a huge following on Flickr. You can’t nail down one style for Chiara I would say it changes almost daily. Sometimes I can’t stand what she is wearing and other times I can’t stop staring but either way it always looks amazing. Some people credit her success to the fact that she is a beautiful, blonde, rich Italian that had all the luxuries in life. However if you have watched since the beginning you see just how much her life has evolved into a multi-million dollar world known brand regardless of an benefits she might have had in the beginning.
To Vogue Or Bust
[modula id=”13400″]
Another Vancouver girl who has a great sense of style, amazing tips on fitness and is all around fun to follow. The content on her blog is rich as she is actually a writer by trade which makes her posts quite easy to follow. From fashion to cooking and exercise there isn’t much Alexandra doesn’t cover on her blog To Vogue Or Bust. I’ve stalked her for a few years now and always look forward to her sunshine filled posts. I don’t know if she saves them up or somehow manages to find a bit of sunshine every day but her post are always uplifting. Gracing the pages (web but still) of InStyle and Vanity Fair (to name a few) have cemented her in the Vancouver blogging scene as someone to watch.
Monika Hibbs

This local girl has gained a MASSIVE following on her blog Monika Hibbs (formerly The Doctors Closet) in just a few years. I found out about her blog through a mutual friend we both went to school with and was hooked from day one. Her Instagram is so bright and airy it seems as though she lives in a perfectly lit world somewhere far, far away from grey ol Vancouver. She has a jewellery line as well as an online shop with all the beautiful things she posts on her website and Instagram. If her impeccable taste wasn’t enough reason to follow her the adorable photos of her little man Liam Romeo will certainly get you.
I thought I would share a list of my favourite bloggers with you guys and see if you would like to share some of your favs with me!
