It has been a long time since I put any effort in to my style. I mean, I still try when there is a wedding or something that I should be put together for but when it comes to day to day and going out my style is as boring as it gets. Going back through years of Facebook, I was reminded of just how into fashion I used to be. Working retail will do that to you. When you are getting a great discount on clothes, everything is justifiable. There are still items  I look at in my closet and think “WTF?!” but there are some outfits I look back on and really think maybe it’s time to figure out my style and go shopping. I thought I would share some photos of what my style used to be.

The one thing that really sticks out to me is even when I was putting the effort in, I still never really had one style. as George Constanza once said, ” I dress based on mood”, that could not be more true for me. Now more than before. I think I used to actually plan my outfits which I just cannot wrap my head around now. Any time I’ve tried to plan my outfits it never works out and I end up hating what I’m wearing. The only exception was this weekend. I planned the hell out of that outfit and it worked.

My style needs a major re-haul and I’m in the process of throwing everything away and replacing it with clothes I love. I rented a TON of books from the library recently because I need some major help. Stay tuned!
